Starkey Onyejekwe

Quite an accomplishment... Starkey built a balsa bridge that took on the best that the school's physics students could produce. All this while not a physics student himself!

And how did his bridge do?

Supporting 88.5 kg (impressive by itself), it scored well above the average strength that year, beating most grade 11 and many grade 12 student projects. All this from no more than 100.0 grams of dimensional balsa wood and glue.

This photograph was taken in the early days of digital photography with an Epson PhotoPC500. Sorry that the photo didn't turn out better!

How well would a second S.O. project have panned out? We'll never know. Well done Starkey!
